Thoughts and feelings on infertility from me and people I’ve met with infertility. I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure (POF) at age 27. We had been married a month at the time. We were told I would never have kids of my own (due to my ovaries shutting down for no reason) and that adoption and donor egg invitro were the only options to have a family. 1 in 1000 women are diagnosed with POF before age 30. 1 in 10 people seek some sort of infertility testing or treatment. UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a second appt for March 18th!!!!! Wish me luck for a second opinion…not sure if it will be any different from the 1st, but I’m hoping. hysterosalpingogram test (HSG) I know it’s standard procedure, and I’ll probably HAVE to do it, I just don’t think it’s necessary…for me. I have no issues and no symptoms of issues with my tubes or uterus. I hesitated when she said I needed it, and after discussing it with my our nurse (my mom) 
she agreed with me. We’ll see what happens… =/
